Reading's creative agency BH&P joins the fight against COVID-19

Becky Holland and Partners (BH&P) client Reading UK is working hard to bring together the town’s business community in light of the current COVID-19 pandemic. The town's economic development organisation is to unite businesses large and small in an effort to survive the current crisis.

Reading UK 

Following the recent national Government announcements, Reading Borough Council is working to provide local businesses with both rate relief and business grants. These include:

  • Retail, leisure and hospitality rates discount
  • Small business grants
  • Retail, leisure and hospitality grants
  • Business rates holiday for child care providers

“Our main priority at present is supporting Reading Borough Council disseminate the funding made available by the government to targeted businesses and sectors. We are reaching out to the business community to ensure they know how to contact Reading Borough Council in order to access any grants they may be eligible for.”

BH&P

BH&P will be working closely with Nigel Horton-Baker over the next few weeks, offering communications support to the vital search for volunteers to support the One Reading Community Hub, a group set up to help those most vulnerable in the local community, and also helping the NHS in Reading.

Becky Holland said,

Our team will continue to make themselves available to share both knowledge and resources. We’re all online and ready help wherever we can."

In the coming weeks,  BH&P also will be launching a new initiative to support established Reading and Thames Valley businesses with communications and marketing support. This will allow them to pivot their messaging and marketing approach, to help them strengthen their brand in these challenging times.
